Nestled in the picturesque countryside in the Southern Tablelands of Australia, a few hours drive from several major cities. A personal dream for the owner, Claire, this zoo aims to provide a sanctuary for animals that cannot be returned to the wild as well as educate the public on the many kinds of animals from all around the world. 

All the animals at the sanctuary have been sourced ethically and utmost care is taken to ensure that they are comfortable in their new home, with good food and appropriate enrichment. 

The sanctuary has recently joined the Anti-Extinction Conservation Program to help out with conservation efforts of extinct in the wild species and looks forward to introducing their first project animals, the Pinta giant tortoises. 

Don’t forget to visit the sanctuary’s finest restaurant while you’re here, run by Claire’s husband, Nolan. One of the best eateries according to locals.
