Slater is one of our giganotosauruses, and is one of our biggest attractions. Colorful and with lots of teeth, he's a fascination for the guests.
ABOUT THE ZOO
welcome to solitude restoration reserve!
solitude focuses mainly on the rehabilitation and release of most animals, and uses special techniques to provide the most natural atmosphere for all animals so they don't lose their ability to survive in the wild. we pride ourselves on our breeding programs and success with the rehabilitation of our animals.
one of solitude's main assets is their genetics program. our scientists have found ways to bring back prehistoric mammals and dinosaurs, who live in their own separate sanctuaries. using modern technology, we are able to keep all animals safe in their own natural enclosures while still giving them the freedom to roam and live as they want.
we also have a large area of land reserved for our various wolf packs, including, but not limited to, arctic wolves, grey wolves, and ethiopian wolves.

our prehistoric zone is one of our signatures here at the zoo. we focus on bringing back prehistoric mammals, with minor genetic modification to make them more suitable for our modern environment. all animals roam freely in a large sanctuary, with electronic chips in them to prevent them from wandering into territory they should not be in. these chips also act as trackers. below is our list of prehistoric mammals:

our wolf packs live in a large sanctuary where they can freely live in true nature. they have the ability to act and live as true wild wolves.

orca sea sanctuary

we have multiple orca sea sanctuaries sectioned off in parts of the ocean. these are large ocean exhibits that serve to act as a natural environment for our orcas. each one is connected to one larger one, where we will lift the doors to allow each orca pod to socialize with each other, and to allow natural breeding to occur, if the orcas choose to on their own. we'd like to provide the most natural exhibit for them to prevent human interference when it comes to releasing them back into the wild.
