Aspen Moon Preserve
Mission Statement
We at Aspen Moon Preserve are dedicated to the education and preservation of wildlife species. We work with a variety of animals ranging from the smallest insect to the largest land mammal to flying birds and underwater creatures.
Aspen Moon Preserve hopes to help conservation efforts on endangered species as well as offer educational events to the public on various wildlife and giving them a chance to see animals they won't naturally see in the area.
About Aspen Moon Preserve
Located in the Midwest of the United States, Aspen Moon Preserve opened its doors to the public for the first time on October 31st, 2024. The extremely small zoo is currently running on guest fees, donations and government grants.
The zoo is currently operated solely by the owner, Persephone Raine. She began her dream a few years ago when she purchased the land and began to work on gaining the correct permits and such. Once that was cleared she began her construction of the preserve.
It has more of an open layout rather than each and every species having its own exhibit, multiple species are able to coexist in their own biomes. While there are still plenty of animals which do require their own exhibits though. Persephone's home is also located on the land.
It took a few years but soon enough in October everything was finished and up to code. Persephone then acquired her first animals and opened the doors to the public.
