ANI-2748: Lyudmila (F)

Lyudmila is a Brown Hyena first rescued by Misty Willows Animal Rescue and Species Preservation (MWARSP) in 2025. She was the first animal to be welcomed to the premises after a raid was preformed on an illegal exotic animal trader that was known for poaching. Believed to be poached from the wild as a pup Mila was determined to be unfit for release and was brought to the rescue as a permanent resident. 

Lyudmila is a skittish but personable animal that adapted well to her new environment here at MWARSP. She enjoys lounging in the shade and playing with the enrichment toys and activities provided by her handlers. Overall, shes a joy to be had here at the rescue.
