ANI-2600: Brom (M)

Unfortunately, we were hoping that our first horse or equine in the Steam Spire Zoo would be a friendlier one...but we have a very moody member in our family. Meet Brom, our first Przewalski's Horse! Brom was rescued from his original habitat as a result of a wild fire that essentially consumed his old home. Surprisingly to most, his injuries actually were not from that event though. All his scars were from old or previous fights out in the wild and we suspect his blind eye being a result from that as well. Yet, none of them have stopped him and his very overbearing nature.

That being said, Brom is very domineering and does not like being challenged. While with staff he does all right, interacting with other animals (and or introducing him to those of his own kind) has been a bit painful...actually it's more like pulling teeth. He is NOT friendly to different species and only tolerates other equines for a moment before becoming hostile. At first, we were convinced it was because he is a stallion (as opposed to a gelding). However, he is not very nice to our females either. We have tried to sign him up with a breeding program partnered by us and the Royal Zoo,  but are a little warry of his reaction.

Brom also has this unspoken rivalry with our boy Vlad, although we are still not sure as to why...
